Categories & Floorplans on TCC Live

Products can be assigned both a Category and or a Floorplan.

Categories: are assigned to products and are used to differentiate item groups in order templates.

Floorplans: are used to set stocktake locations of items.

Creating Categories

1. From your dashboard select Ordering→ Templates→ Categories and Floorplans.

• To add a new category select Add new Template Category.

2. Name the category and select save.

• You can delete or edit the names of existing categories using the edit function on the right-hand side of each category row.

3. Rename and select update.

Note: Creating categories automatically generates a corresponding floorplan with the same naming convention. Any naming edit made to categories will also edit the corresponding floorplan.

Creating Floorplans

Floorplans are automatically generated as duplicates of existing categories.

1. To manage, edit and create new floorplans from the dashboard select Stocktake→ Manage Stocktake Floorplan.

2. To add a new floorplan location select Add new Floorplan from the top left.

3. Name the floorplan.

4. Select stocktake type.

5. Select Stocktake See Received to show historic SOH while stocktaking (access to this feature must be granted by your admin).

6. Select save.

Note: Adding additional or editing existing floorplans does not affect category names. Deleting a category does not delete its duplicate floor plan and vice versa.

Assigning Floorplans

Open Select ‘Stocktake’	Open Select ‘Manage Your Products’	Open Select the required Supplier Note: You can select this option below if you want to see ALL products Open
Open Choose the appropriate floorplan for each product	Open Select ‘Save Floorplan’ once complete	Open For assigning bulk products. Choose ‘Select All’ Choose the appropriate floorplan for all products (Note: if you have Daily Stocktake items, you must manually unselect these as they cannot be changed) Select ‘Assign Floorplan’ Save Floorplan to apply changes
