Process Windcave Refund
Steps
In order to process a refund on Windcave you’ll need the Windcave Merchant Card that looks like the below
Once you have this card you will need to process a refund on the POS
Start a new check
Press the VOID button once
Enter the menu items you would like to refund, you will notice that the items are a negative count and value.
If the items aren’t showing as a negative count and value, try pressing the VOID button once again and re-enter the menu item
Once all items you wish to refund are entered go to the Payments page and press Integrated EFTPOS
The integrated EFTPOS window will appear and prompt to swipe the Merchant Card. Swipe the Windcave card now
Enter the pin that was used when the account was setup
If you don’t know the pin to process refunds, please reach out to Windcave to have this reset

The integrated EFTPOS window will now prompt the customer to enter their card, have them tap, swipe or insert their card and enter their pin just how they would with a normal transaction.
If the refund was successful the integrated EFTPOS window will show Approved and the customer will be refunded.
