POS Frozen and Touch Screen Not Working

The Workstation 6's can sometimes have their touch screen stop working, following the below guide will resolve this

Tilt the screen back so you are able to see all the cables plugged into it


Unplug the black rectangle plug, by pressing the clips on either side.



Plug the cable back in, ensuring both clips snap in place. When this cable goes back in you should hear beeps from any scanners and EFTPOS pinpads.

 

 

After this is plugged in wait 5-10 seconds and the screen should display an image saying “Micros Oracle”.

 

After another 30-60 seconds you should be on the login screen and the touch screen will be working.
