KDS Bump Bar Troubleshooting

Kindly follow this troubleshooting for both types of Bump Bars. Please make sure that the Bump Bar is unplugged from the KDS device before you attempt this troubleshooting guide.

  1. Using a screwdriver untighten the screws near the base of the cable.

 

  1. Carefully Pull out the circuit board then unplug and re-plug the cable.

 

  1. Carefully put the board back in the device and make sure to slide it back in place using the guides.

 

  1. Screw back on the side cover and plug in the KDS bump bar into the KDS.

 

Wireless Bump Bar

 

Check or Replace the Batteries

  1. Using a screwdriver untighten the screws on the left side of the Bump Bar

 

  1. Pull out the battery cradle and check that the batteries are in correctly or replace them with 2 new AAA batteries.

  2. Slide the battery cradle back in & screw the side back on and test

It is also a good idea to clean off any rust that might be on the springs

 

Check the USB Dongle

  1. In one of the USB ports on the KDS there will be a dongle that looks like the one in the picture.

    Try unplugging and re-plugging it back in to the same port or use another.
