Wally Milk Operating and Cleaning Procedures
Daily Operating Procedures
Complete coffee machine opening procedures and ensure Wally is plugged in, and power is on. NOTE: If the coffee machine is off, the Wally will take approx. 20 mins to heat up before it can be used. | Press the programming encoder and select “recipe steaming.” | Fill milk jug and place on platform underneath the steam wand. Ensure the jug is lined up with the steam wand and the jug is sitting correctly in the divot. NOTE: Do not overfill the milk jug. Doing this will cause it to overflow during the steaming process. |
Select coffee recipe, then press the steam button. | Ensure the steam wand has been wiped thoroughly and there is no excess milk build up left on the steam wand. | NOTE: Ensure you are purging the steam wand every 15-30 mins to avoid any excess milk build up inside the steam wand. |
Daily Cleaning Procedures
Hold the steam button down and the steam wand will lower and purge. This will help ensure any excess milk has been purged out. | Ensure the steam wand has been wiped thoroughly and there is no excess milk build up left on the steam wand. | Take off the metal holder and pull out the drain tray. Ensure platform and drain tray has been wiped down and cleaned out thoroughly. NOTE: Take care in pulling out the drain tray and assembling back together. You will need to ensure the drip tray and platform have clicked back in correctly after cleaning.
| Wipe down the outside of the Wally to clean off any excess milk with a damp cloth. Do not use chemicals as this may potentially cause damage to the exterior. |
