Changing the Filter Paper
THE POWER SUPPLY MUST BE DISCONNECTED BEFORE CLEANING AND SERVICING THIS APPLIANCE
Pull filter draw out from under fryer | Remove Filter Strainer Cap and place aside | Unscrew the pickup tube counterclockwise to detach from filter pickup assembly |
Slide off the filter paper clip | Remove used filter paper from filter screen. Dispose dirty paper directly into the bin | Replace with new filter paper, ensuring that the hole in the paper is on the top, so that the fitting in the filter screen protrudes through |
Ensure the filter paper is folded to the underside of filter screen. This is to ensure the dirty oil can’t flow out the opening and enter back into the fryer. | Replace the filter paper clip and place back into filter draw | Re-attach filter pickup tube to the filter screen by screwing clockwise into the threaded fitting in filter screen |
Place Filter Strainer Cap back onto the Filter Pickup Assembly | When closing the draw, ensure the Strainer Cap snaps tightly and securely into the donut fitting |
