Important Warning & Safety Information
DANGER: Do not work around conveyor belt with long hair, loose clothing or dangling jewelry. Getting caught in the belt could result in serious injury.
DANGER: For your safety, do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors or liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.
DANGER: If the power supply cord appears to be damaged, do not attempt to operate the unit. Contact Comcater to repair.
DANGER: Do not use parchment paper when placing food product through the appliance. Use of such materials may cause a fire.
DANGER: Do not spray aerosols in the vicinity of this appliance while it is in operation.
Minimum clearances must be maintained from all walls and combustible materials.
Keep the oven area free and clear of combustible material.
Adequate clearance for air openings to the control chamber on both sides of the oven is required.
Do not obstruct the ventilation holes in the control boxes and covers as these provide cooling air
for the controls.The oven is to be operated only on the type of electricity as shown on the specification plate.

Operating Instructions

CONTROLS | DESCRIPTION |
---|---|
Belt Speed / Time Control | Belt speed refers to how quickly the food item travels through the oven. This is shown on the display screen. The top impinger set at 3 minutes. The bottom impinger set at 4 minutes. |
Temperature Control | The Countertop impinger allows you to increase or decrease the temperature setting. This is shown on the display screen. Top impinger set at 232°C Bottom impinger set at 260°C |
Belt Direction | The Countertop impinger allows you to change the direction in which the conveyor belt moves. Pressing the belt direction button will change the direction of travel between left-to-right and right-to-left options. The direction of the belt should match the workflow of the kitchen, putting on one side, taking off the other. |
Power-Up The Oven
Turn the 'On/Off Switch” to the “on” position. Allow the oven to preheat for approx. 30 minutes.
Change Belt Direction
Press the “Belt Direction Button” to change the direction in which the conveyor belt travels.
Programming The Manual Mode
Press and hold the Time and Temperature buttons for approx. 5 seconds to enter manual mode. Press the Time button to allow for changes in time. Press the or button to reach the desired time.
2. Press and release the Temperature button to allow changes in temperature. Press the or button to . reach the desired temperature. Press and release the Temperature button again to leave manual mode . and active the manual settings.
Shutdown
Push the “On/Off Switch” to the ‘off’ position.
As each Countertop impinger is equipped with a 30-minute cool-down timer, the fan motor will continue to run for 30-minutes after the unit has been turned off. The fan motor will automatically stop at the end of the 30-minute cool-down period.
Programming The Subset Menu (°F to °C)
To change the temperature display setting between °F and °C, press and hold the AND buttons until the display screen is flashing. Press the Temperature button to see temperature display. If it is set to °F, press the button to change to °C.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Required Materials:
All Purpose Cleaner
Chux Cloth
RTU Greaselift
Kays Degreaser or Dip-It Plus
Green Scourer
Impinger Bath
DANGER: Oven must be cool. Do not use steel wool or wire brushes on stainless steel surfaces

| To determine if the wire belt is stretched, pull up on the center of the belt at the conveyor opening. If the belt touches the top of the conveyor opening, links will need to be removed to adjust the tension. |

| Although this oven has been designed to be as trouble free as possible, periodic preventative maintenance is essential to maintain peak performance. NOTE: Always use Personal Protective Equipment when cleaning the impinger - PVC Heat Proof Gloves, PVC Apron, Eye Protection. Impinger MUST NOT BE HOT
Weekly Disassembly
Unscrew the airflow guards on both ends of the impinger (Hot Tip - Don’t lose the screws!) Remove crumb trays and end stops | Disconnect spring-loaded drive hub from gear assembly | Lift conveyor belt through and out of the impinger (Hot Tip - It may be a 2 person job!) |
Remove side panels on both ends of impinger | Remove airflow fingers by lifting up and sliding out of the impinger | Take centre arms out |
Weekly Cleaning - KAYS DEGREASER
Spray with Greaselift and let sit before scrubbing. Use a dry cloth to wipe away any crumbs. | Use a scarper to remove any heavy carbon build up (Hot Tip - Don’t use a heavy scourer - that will scratch and damage it). | Fill impinger bath with hot water and Kays Degreaser (1/2 cup degreaser per 1ltr water). Soak crumb trays, end stops, airflow fingers and centre arms overnight. ENSURE IMPINGER IS COMPLETLEY SUBMERGED WHILE SOAKING |
Scrub using a nylon scourer, wipe over tracking, removing any carbon/grease build up. Using a hard bristled brush for the conveyor belt. For any stubborn build up, spray with Greaselift. | Rinse all parts with hot water and let dry before putting it back together. | Replace centre arms. |
Replace airflow fingers by sliding components back in place ensuring holes are aligned. | Replace end plates on each side. Align the bottom first. Don't over tighten the screws. | Replace the conveyor belt. (Hot Tip - Make sure you have a second person to help). |
Push back spring loaded drive hub and realign gear assembly with spring loaded drive hub. | Replace crumb trays. | Replace airflow panel. |

Weekly Cleaning - DIP-IT PLUS
Spray with Greaselift and let sit before scrubbing. Use a dry cloth to wipe away any crumbs. | Use a scarper to remove any heavy carbon build up (Hot Tip - Don’t use a heavy scourer - that will scratch and damage it). |
Fill impinger bath with hot water add Dip-It Plus powder (50g of Dip-It Plus per 5 litres of water). Soak crumb trays, end stops, airflow fingers and centre arms overnight (minimum 3 hours soaked). ENSURE IMPINGER IS COMPLETLEY SUBMERGED WHILE SOAKING |
