Operations

CAUTION: THIS UNIT CAN GET VERY HOT, ENSURE EVERONE IS AWARE THAT THE MACHINE IS OPERATING AND TAKE CARE TO AVOID CONTACT WITH HOT SURFACES.

Toaster Start-Up

When Toaster is first turned on, turn both element controls to the maximum output, position 20.

Allow a warm up time of 10 - 15 minutes.

The toasting temperature will continue to rise for around an hour as the machine warms.

  • Place 2 products side-by-side on the entry chute and check the results when they have finished cooking.

 

Cleaning

CAUTION: ENSURE THE POWER IS OFF AND THE TOASTER IS COOL BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO CLEAN ANY PART OF THE MACHINE

Daily Cleaning

Chemical - Suma Light​

Crumb Trays

  • Slide out the crumb trays from the unit. Clean with warm soapy water and dry before reinstalling

  • Ensure trays are reinstalled in the correct position

NOTE: The reflective surfaces of the top crumb tray aid the cooking process. Over time, these surfaces may become tarnished and reduces the efficiency of the toaster. To overcome this, aluminium foil can be wrapped over this component to restore a good reflective surface.

Unit

  • Wipe the toaster down with warm soapy water using a damp chux cloth.

  • Do not submerge unit in water

Filter Removal

The filter must be removed and cleaned daily.

  • The filter is located at the rear control side of the unit and is removed by sliding up (see pictured left)

  • Filter must be cleaned daily in the dishwasher

  • Dry filter and reinstall.

 

 

 

NOTE: Some cleaning agents may damage the stainless steel through prolonged use. Ensure you are following the correct instructions when cleaning.

Troubleshooting

If the toaster does not function, check the follow parts before calling for service:

  • The machine is plugged in correctly and the power switched on.

  • The Power switch is the “ON” (I) position.

  • The power point is not faulty.

  • The Power knob is not loose or broken, rendering the switch inoperable.
